Mr. Chalermpop Khanjan (fourth from left), Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), and Dr. Wiparat De-ong (sixth from left), Executive Director of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing research, technology, and innovation in the rubber industry. The signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Chaiyos Sincharoenkul, Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry PCL, along with distinguished experts from NRCT, who served as witnesses. The partnership aims to integrate resources and expertise to drive progress in key areas such as product development, resource management, and environmental conservation. Notable initiatives include the development of knowledge for managing sludge waste from concentrated latex production, innovation in latex coagulation processes to reduce sulfuric acid usage, as well as training programs to upskill personnel and provide technical consultation on rubber-related technologies. This collaboration is expected to significantly enhance production efficiency, strengthen the competitiveness of Thailand's rubber industry across all dimensions, and support its long-term growth in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
