Sri Trang Group Wins Two Green Industry Level 4 Awards in 2025, Reinforcing Commitment to Environmentally Friendly Business Operations

Ms. Chanida Phuchmongkol (left), Factory Manager of Rubberland Products Company Limited, Hat Yai Branch, and Ms. Isiya Sungsiri (right), Occupational health & Safety Manager of Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT), Sadao P.S. and Anwar Branches, subsidiaries of Sri Trang Group, received the Green Industry Level 4 Awards for 2025 from the Ministry of Industry. The awards were presented by Mr. Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, to recognize factories that demonstrate continuous improvement in production processes and environmental management. Sri Trang Group has implemented several initiatives to build a green culture and publicly disclose its environmental performance, including 1) Setting a target of achieving Net Zero by 2050, with strong engagement from employees at all levels. 2) Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by establishing in-factory waste banks, resulting in a reduction of 5.26 tons of CO₂ equivalent in 2024, and adopting electric forklifts to cut fuel and oil consumption, which reduced emissions by 21.14 tons of CO₂ equivalent in 2023. 3) Carrying out community-based quality of life development projects, such as promoting cage fish farming, economic insect farming, producing pallets into bed slats, eco-friendly broom making, and the Safety School project to support safe learning environments. These achievements reflect the Group’s steadfast commitment to conducting business in harmony with the environment, fostering a sustainable green culture, and creating long-term value for society. The award ceremony was held recently at the Royal Thai Army Club, Bangkok.
