STA Welcomes Assistant Minister of Commerce to Mukdahan Factory for Inspection of Transparent Rubber Purchasing Standards and Exchange of Insights on Advancing Thailand's Rubber Industry to the Global Market.
Mr. Chalermpop Khanjan (sixth from left), Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited, and Mr. Mustopa Longsaman (fourth from right), Factory Manager of Rubberland Products Co., Ltd., Mukdahan Branch under the Sri Trang Group, Welcomed Mr. Varavongsa Ramangkura (fifth from right), Vice Minister for Commerce, Along with Senior Executives from the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Internal Trade, the Provincial Commerce Office, and the Regional Bureau of Weights and Measures, for a Visit to Inspect the Rubber Market Situation and Purchasing Standards During the Official Offsite Cabinet Meeting (Second Session of 2025), Aimed at Building Confidence Among Farmers. During the inspection, it was found that the Company clearly and accurately displayed purchasing prices in line with actual buying rates and adhered to standardized procurement procedures. On this occasion, the executives also exchanged information regarding the Company's operations and ongoing community and environmental initiatives by the Sri Trang Group, including the Clean Energy Project, the “High-Quality Cup Lump for Happiness” Project, the “Smiling Rubber Transportation” Project, and the “Traceable Natural Rubber (GPS)” Initiative to ensure traceable, legal sourcing aligned with the Group’s commitment to “Opposing and Refusing the Purchase of Illegal Rubber.” Furthermore, the Company remains dedicated to advancing and strengthening our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, which are key to sustainable organizational growth and align with its goal of conducting business responsibly toward all stakeholders.
Between April 21–25, 2025, the Company Welcomed Senior Executives from the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Internal Trade, Provincial Commerce Offices, Regional Offices of Weights and Measures, and the Rubber Authority of Thailand for Visits to Sri Trang Group’s Rubber Purchasing Centers Across Multiple Locations — Including Phitsanulok, Narathiwat, Pattani, Trang, Surat Thani, and Surin.
